A3 -- Check For Shorts to Ground

^ Key OFF.

^ Remove the 15A STOP and METER fuses.

^ Locate and disconnect the shift lock actuator connector.

^ Measure the resistance between the top terminal of the 15A STOP fuse holder and ground.

^ Measure the resistance between the bottom terminal of the 15A METER fuse holder and ground.

^ Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

YES -- Service the Y or BK/Y wire(s) in question.

NO -- Replace the METER and/or the STOP fuse(s). Go to A4. A4 -- Check Power Supply
