FA1 - Check Fuel Pump Motor

WARNING: Before starting these tests, release the fuel pressure from the fuel system to reduce the risk of injury or fire, as outlined in Service Precautions.

^ Relieve the fuel pressure.

^ Connect Rotunda Fuel Pressure Tester 014-00748 or equivalent to the fuel filter with the main valve closed and drain valve closed.

^ Jump the fuel pump test terminal to ground as shown in Test Step F1.

^ Key On.

^ Is the maximum fuel pressure within specification?

YES -- Go to FA2. FA2 - Check Voltage to Fuel Pump

NO -- Replace the fuel pump.
