35-2 Check Air Bag Module Circuit

^ Deactivate the air bag system - leave the passenger side air bag module connector disconnected (do not install Rotunda Air Bag Simulator 105-00009).

^ Disconnect the air bag diagnostic monitor connectors.

^ Measure the resistance across Pin 11 (circuit 944A GN/R) and Pin 9 (circuit 939 GN/Y) at the black air bag diagnostic monitor harness connector.
^ Is the resistance across Pins 9 and 11 infinite (open)?

YES -- Go to 35-3. 35-3 Check For Short In Air Bag Module

NO -- Locate and service the short across circuits 944C and 939 in the wiring harness. Inspect the air bag diagnostic monitor harness connector for shorted terminals. Reactivate the system.
