Valve Rocker Arm - Removal

REMOVAL






NOTE: Before replacing parts, inspect all related valvetrain components for damage to prevent engine misfire.

1. Remove cylinder head cover(s) Cylinder Head Cover(s) - Removal.

NOTE: The rocker arms are intake (2) and exhaust (1) specific.

NOTE: When removing rocker arms, do not remove the bolt from the rocker arm.

2. Loosen rocker bolt.
3. Remove rocker arm assemblies noting their location for reassembly.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for remaining rocker arms.
