ABS Messages Not Received

ABS MESSAGES NOT RECEIVED



- When Monitored:
With the ignition On.

- Set Condition:
The Instrument Cluster detects no ABS messages received for 5 ± 1 seconds.





1. NO RESPONSE - PCI BUS - ABS
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, attempt to I/D or communicate with the ABS Module.

Is there a response from the ABS Module?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- Perform the NO RESPONSE FROM ABS (ANTILOCK BRAKE MODULE) diagnostic procedure. No Response From ABS (Antilock Brake Module)

2. INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
1. With the scan tool, erase the DTC from the Instrument Cluster.
2. Cycle the ignition and wait approximately 1 minute.
3. With the scan tool read DTCs.

Did this DTC reset?

Yes

- Replace the Instrument Cluster.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test

No

- The condition is not present at this time. Monitor scan tool parameters while wiggling the related wire harness. Search for any Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) that may apply. Visually inspect the related wiring harness and connector terminals.
