Headlamp: Adjustments

HEADLAMP UNIT AIMING









First park the vehicle twenty-five feet perpendicular to the wall that the screen will be set up on and parked on a level floor or ground. Then prepare vehicle for headlamp unit/fog lamp unit alignment by performing the following:

1. Fill fuel tank or place weight in trunk to simulate a full load of fuel.
2. Jounce suspension a minimum of three times to settle suspension.
3. Check tire inflation. Fill tires if necessary to suggested specifications. Refer to vehicle Owner's Manual or the vehicle Tire Placard inside the rear edge of the left door.
4. Turn the headlamps ON. Make sure that the vehicle LOW BEAMS are on and not the high beams. If the fog lamps are being checked, turn ON the fog lamps w/park lamps only.
5. Refer to for headlamp/fog lamp aiming screen setup. The headlamps/fog lamps can be adjusted vertically only.
