VTSS VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1
Diagnostic Test
1. Perform Body Verification Test
Disconnect all jumper wires and reconnect all previously disconnected components and connectors.
Remove the ignition key (but keep in hand).
Ensure doors, hood, and decklid are closed.
Lock the doors with the RKE transmitter or power door lock switch.
Observe the VTSS Indicator.
The VTSS Indicator will flash rapidly for approximately 15 seconds and then begin to flash slowly. If the VTSS Indicator is not performing as described, this indicates a system fault. Refer to symptom list for problems related to THEFT ALARM WILL NOT ARM. Testing and Inspection
Perform a system test on the VTSS by duplicating the original complaint.
Disarm the vehicle theft system.
Turn the ignition on and using the scan tool, read DTC's.
Are DTCs present or is the original condition still present?
Yes

No
- The repair is complete.
