Engine Coolant Thermostat - Removal

REMOVAL










1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the cooling system Service and Repair.
3. Remove the upper radiator hose at the thermostat housing (1).

NOTE: Thermostat O-ring is part of thermostat (2) and is not serviced separately.

4. Remove the thermostat housing mounting bolts (3), thermostat housing (1) and thermostat (2).
