Fault Message
- Charging System Voltage Too Low

Background
- The PCM tries to maintain charging system voltage of between 13.2 and 15 volts.
- This code indicates the battery voltage input is below the target charging voltage during engine operation AND no significant change in voltage has been detected during active testing of the generator output circuit.

Range of Check
- Engine speed: 1,500 r/min or more for approx. one minute
- Battery positive voltage is at least 1 V lower than the target charging voltage for approx. 25 seconds.

Set Condition
- Battery positive voltage does not change even if the generator field current is cut of.

Probable Cause
- Detects in generator drive belt or adjustment
- High resistance between battery B (+) and generator B (+)
- High resistance between battery B (-) and generator ground
- PCM failed
