Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement (LY7) (3.6L)

Removal Procedure




1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the rear exhaust manifold heat shield bolts and shield.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Position the rear exhaust manifold heat shield to the engine and install the bolts. Tighten the bolts to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).
2. Lower the vehicle.
