Folding Top Panel Latch Striker Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Open the folding top 100 mm (4 in).
2. Remove the front headliner. Refer to Retractable Roof Headliner Front Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) in Interior Trim.




3. Disconnect the folding top rear upper latch linkage.




4. Remove the folding top panel striker fasteners.




5. Remove the folding top panel striker from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the folding top panel striker to the vehicle.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the folding top panel striker fasteners.

Tighten the fasteners to 12 N.m (106 lb in).





3. Connect the folding top rear upper latch linkage.
4. Install the front headliner. Refer to Retractable Roof Headliner Front Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) in Interior Trim.
5. Close the folding top.
