Engine Mount Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the throttle body air inlet duct.





2. Remove the engine mount struts.
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
4. Remove the three-way catalytic converter pipe from the engine right side exhaust manifold.
5. Remove the right front wheel and tire.
6. Remove the right engine splash shield.





7. Remove the engine mount lower nuts.

Notice: Refer to Raising/Supporting Oil Pan Notice in Service Precautions.

8. Use a utility stand and a block of wood in order to raise the engine.
9. Remove the engine mount bracket-to-oil pan bolts.
10. Remove the engine mount and the engine mount bracket.





11. Remove the engine mount upper nuts.
12. Remove the engine mount from the engine mount bracket.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the engine mount to the engine mount bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the engine mount upper nuts.
Tighten the nuts to 53 Nm (39 ft. lbs.).





3. Install the engine mount bracket with the engine mount to the oil pan.
4. Install the engine mount bracket-to-oil pan bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 58 Nm (43 ft. lbs.).
5. Use the utility stand in order to lower the engine.





6. Install the engine mount lower nuts.
Tighten the nuts to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
7. Install the right engine splash shield.
8. Install the right front wheel and tire.
9. Connect the three-way catalytic converter pipe to the engine right side exhaust manifold.
10. Lower the vehicle.
11. Install the engine mount struts.
12. Install the throttle body air inlet duct.
