Hood Hold-Open Rod Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Raise the hood. Support the hood with a temporary hood support.
2. Remove the retainer from the fender.
3. Remove the hood rod from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the retainer to the fender.

Tighten the retainers to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

2. Remove the temporary hood support.
