Lock Cylinder Latch Plate Cover Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.




2. Using a flat-bladed tool or suitable device, release the retainers from the rear compartment lid lock cylinder latch plate cover.




3. Open the rear compartment lid lock cylinder latch plate cover fully.
4. Gently push the rear compartment lid lock cylinder latch plate cover rearward to release the tabs.
5. Remove the rear compartment lid lock cylinder latch plate cover from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure

1. Insert the rear compartment lid lock cylinder latch plate cover tabs onto the lock cylinder latch plate assembly.




2. Close the rear compartment lid lock cylinder latch plate cover.
3. Push firmly on the rear compartment lid lock cylinder latch plate cover to fully seat the cover to the lock cylinder latch plate assembly.
4. Lower the vehicle.
