Seat Belt Guide Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat belt anchor bolt and remove the seats belt from the seat guide loop. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Front in Seat Belts.
2. Remove the chrome head restraint trim from the headrest. Refer to Chrome Head Restraint Trim Replacement (Chrome Head Restraint Trim Replacement) .




3. Remove the 2 nuts (1) securing the seat belt guide to the seat back frame. Discard the nuts.
4. Remove the filler piece (2).
5. Remove the seat belt guide.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the seat belt guide onto the seat back frame studs.
2. Install the filler piece (2).





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the seat belt guide to the seat back frame with 2 new duel-component epoxy lock-nuts (1).

Tighten the seat belt guide nuts to 11 N.m (8 lb ft).

4. Install the chrome head restraint trim to the headrest. Refer to Chrome Head Restraint Trim Replacement (Chrome Head Restraint Trim Replacement) .
5. Feed the seat belt through the seat guide loop and install the seat belt anchor bolt . Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Front in Seat Belts.
