Lock Housing Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle




1. Lubricate the switch actuator pivot pin (2) with lithium grease.
Install the switch actuator pivot pin (2) to the windshield wiper and washer switch assembly (1) and the lock housing.




2. Align the steering column housing assembly (1) onto the steering column.
3. Align the dimmer switch actuator rod to the steering column housing assembly.
4. Align the ignition switch actuator assembly to the steering column housing assembly.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Install the steering column housing assembly and secure using the 4 hex washer head tapping screws (3).

Tighten the 4 hex washer head tapping screws (3) to 5.5 Nm (48 lb in).

6. Install the thrust washer (2) onto the steering shaft assembly.
7. Install the steering column lock cylinder set.
