PKE/SS Preliminary Check List

^ Open driver side and passenger side windows.
^ Separate Ignition and door keys from transmitter.
^ Remove all functional transmitters from antenna range.
^ Verify normal operation of Headlamps, Horns, Power Door Locks, Door Jamb Switches and Engine Compartment Light.
^ Verify normal vehicle and transmitter battery voltages.
^ Fully close hood before beginning PKE/SS Diagnostic Routine.

PKE/SS Preliminary Check List:




NOTE: The Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) code is indicated by the Programming Switch/Diagnostic Lamp. The DTC is displayed by two flash patterns separated by a pause: DTC 12 - flash, pause, flash, flash; DTC 13 - flash, pause, three flashes, etc. Each DTC will be displayed three times before a new DTC can be broadcast. DTC 14 will set when any working, unprogrammed transmitter is brought into PKE II Antenna Range. DTC 15 will set when a working, programmed transmitter is brought into antenna range. DTC 16 will set when a working, programmed transmitter is manually activated via its push button.

IMPORTANT:
^ Upon exit of diagnostic mode, the PKE II System will default to a passive mode "OFF" condition.
