Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the windshield wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement (LHD).




3. Remove the push in retainer caps (1) from the air inlet grille panel.




4. Remove the push in retainers (2) securing the air inlet grille panel (1) to the vehicle.




5. Disconnect the washer hose connector (2).
6. Push the washer hose grommet (3) into the plenum area.
7. Remove the air inlet grille panel (1) from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the washer hose and the washer hose grommet (3) through the hole in the plenum area.
2. Press the washer hose grommet (3) into position and ensure that it is fully seated.
3. Install the air inlet grille panel (1) to the vehicle.
4. Connect the washer hose connector (2).




5. Install the push in retainers (2) in order to secure the air inlet grille panel (1) to the vehicle.




6. Install the push in retainer caps (1) to the air inlet grille panel.
7. Install the windshield wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement (LHD).
8. Close the hood.
