Garnish Molding Replacement - Center Pillar

Removal Procedure






Caution: Striking the vehicle near the side air bag impact sensor can cause an air bag deployment if the ignition switch is not OFF. To help avoid personal injury and damage to the vehicle from a deployment, always turn the ignition switch to OFF during body repairs.

1. Remove the rear carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement - Rear (Carpet Retainer Replacement - Rear).
2. Pull out on the center pillar garnish molding to disengage the retainer clips.
3. Remove the center pillar garnish molding.



Installation Procedure





1. Align the center pillar garnish molding clips to the holes in the center pillar.
2. Push in on the center pillar garnish molding to engage the retainers.
3. Install the rear carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement - Rear (Carpet Retainer Replacement - Rear).
