Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement

Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer toSIR Handling Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Remove seat back trim cover. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement (Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement) .
2. Remove seat belt post rear cover.




3. Remove upper front seat belt post cover.
4. Remove head restraint from support shaft.

* Insert a small flat-bladed tool in the top and bottom of the support shaft opening.
* Push in on the flat-bladed tool to release the head restraint retaining clips.
* Pull the head restraint from the support shaft.




Installation Procedure

1. Install the head restraint onto the shaft. Apply pressure until the clips engage.




2. Install upper front seat belt post cover.
3. Install rear seat belt post cover.
4. Install seat back trim cover. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement (Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement) .
