Without RPO A45

IMPORTANT:
^ Perform the A Diagnostic System Check - Power Seat Systems before using the Symptom Tables in order to verify that all of the following are true:
- There are no DTCs set.
- The control module(s) can communicate via the serial data link.
^ Review the circuit description in order to familiarize yourself with the system functions. Refer to:
- Memory Seat Description
- Memory Seat Circuit Description
- Power Lumbar Circuit Description (AL2) or Power Lumbar Circuit Description (AC9) or Power Lumbar Circuit Description (A45)

VISUAL/PHYSICAL INSPECTION
^ Inspect for aftermarket devices which could affect the operation of the power seats. Refer to Checking Aftermarket Accessories at Diagnostic Aids under Diagrams.
^ Inspect the easily accessible or visible system components for obvious damage or conditions which could cause the symptom.

INTERMITTENT
Faulty electrical connections or wiring may be the cause of intermittent conditions. Refer to Testing for Intermittent and Poor Connections at Diagnostic Aids under Diagrams.

SYMPTOM LIST
Refer to a symptom diagnostic procedure from the following list in order to diagnose the symptom:
^ Power Seat Inoperative (W/O A45) or Power Seat Inoperative (with A45)
^ Power Seat Does Not Move Forward/Rearward (W/O A45) or Power Seat Does Not Move Forward/Rearward (with A45)
^ Power Seat Does Not Tilt Forward (W/O A45) or Power Seat Does Not Tilt Forward (with A45)
^ Power Seat Does Not Tilt Rearward (W/O A45) or Power Seat Does Not Tilt Rearward (with A45)
^ Power Seat Does Not Recline (W/O A45) or Power Seat Does Not Recline (with A45)
^ Power Seat - Headrest Does Not Move Up or Down (W/O A45) or Power Seat - Headrest Does Not Move Up or Down (with A45)
^ Power Seats Memory Switch Inoperative
^ Lumbar Support Inoperative (W/O A45) or Lumbar Support Inoperative (with A45) or Lumbar Support Inoperative (with AC9)
^ Lumbar Support Does Not Move In or Out (W/O A45) or Lumbar Support Does Not Move In or Out (with A45)
^ Lumbar Support Does Not Move Up or Down (W/O A45) or Lumbar Support Does Not Move Up or Down (with A45)
