Windshield Reveal Molding Replacement

Removal Procedure


Important: Windshield removal is necessary for reveal molding replacement.


1. Open the hood.




2. Carefully pry up one corner of the windshield reveal molding (1).
Use a flat-bladed tool.
3. Grasp the windshield reveal molding at the low corner.
4. Pull the reveal molding (1) from the windshield (2).
5. Remove the windshield. Refer to Windshield Replacement (Service and Repair) .



Installation Procedure





1. Align the notches on the reveal molding (1) with the paint alignment marks on the windshield (2).




2. Press the reveal molding onto the windshield.
Start in the center and work toward each end.
3. Install the windshield. Refer to Windshield Replacement (Service and Repair) .
