Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

Important: Replace the filler trim if any damage exists. Do not repair the filler trim.







1. Remove the left sound insulator from the vehicle. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair) .
2. Grasp the trim at the front edges and the rear edges.
3. Pull the filler trim downward (3).



Installation Procedure.





1. Align the 4 retaining clips on the filler trim (3) with the slots in the opening bracket.
Push the filler trim (3) into place.
2. Install the left sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair) .
