Hood Insulator Replacement

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover


Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.




2. Using the J 38778 , carefully remove the push-in retainers (1) from the hood.
3. Remove the hood insulator (2).



Installation Procedure





1. Position the hood insulator (2) over the underhood lamp to the hood assembly.
2. Install the push-in retainers (1) in order to secure the insulator to the hood.
3. Ensure the push-in retainers are fully seated to the hood insulator.
4. Close the hood.
