Chart 9 Brake Pedal Input Won't Cancel Arm/Doors Won't Relock

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
Brake pedal input will cancel the arming procedure if the brake pedal is depressed before 30 seconds has elapsed once the system has been "armed." Relocks any door if the brake switch signal is received at the RCDLR/TDM with the ignition to "RUN" with the vehicle out of park and the doors closed. Brake switch signal input to the RCDLR/TDM is also used for the "Auto Unlock/Auto Lock" procedure.

CHART TEST DESCRIPTION
Number(s) below refer to circled number(s) on the diagnostic chart.

1. Check brake light system for proper operation.
2. Test brake input CKT #17 to RCDLR/TDM.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
If brake lamps don't work, repair this condition first.

Door locks will not "Relock" from stepping on brake pedal if there is a problem with the brake circuit.
