G: Engine Metal Temperature Open Wire Test

1. Remove the connector from Engine Metal Temperature Switch and jumper terminal A to ground. Switch the Ignition to RUN, and observe the STOP ENGINE TEMP Indicator.

^ If Indicator is on, replace the Engine Metal Temperature Switch.

^ If Indicator is off, check LT GRN (37) wire and FLEX CKT (37) for an open. If OK, go to Test A (check terminal RT7). If voltage is OK at test A terminal RT7, replace the Instrument Panel Cluster. A: Connector C1 Pin-out Test
