F: Engine Metal Temperature Switch Test

1. Remove the connector from Engine Metal Temperature Switch. Switch the ignition to RUN and observe the STOP ENGINE TEMP Indicator.

^ If Indicator is off, replace Engine Metal Temperature Switch.

^ If Indicator is still lit, check LT GRN (37) wire and FLEX CKT (37) for a short to ground. Check for a shorted Chime Module Diode. If OK, replace Instrument Panel Cluster (see Service and Repair).
