J: Service A/C Indicator Does Not Turn Off With A/C System OK

NOTE: This test should only be performed if the A/C refrigerant system is in good working condition.

Disconnect Body Computer Module (BCM) connector C1. Put the Ignition Switch in RUN.

^ If the SERVICE AIR COND Indicator turns off, check the Refrigerant Low Side Temperature Sensor, GRY (731) wire and BLK/PNK (736) wire (see schematic in Air Conditioning). If OK, replace the BCM.

^ If the SERVICE AIR COND Indicator does not turn off, check the WHT (721) wire for a short to ground. If OK, replace the BCM.
