Water Pump Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Remove the front wheelhouse liner right side. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement Service and Repair.

3. Remove the front compartment insulator. Refer to Front Compartment Insulator Replacement Service and Repair.




4. Remove the 4 water pump cover bolts (1) and the water pump cover (2) along with the gasket (3).

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

Note: Use a NEW water pump cover gasket (3).

1. Install the water pump cover (2) and the 4 water pump bolts (1) and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

2. Install the front compartment insulator. Refer to Front Compartment Insulator Replacement Service and Repair.

3. Install the front wheelhouse liner right side. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement Service and Repair.

4. Lower the vehicle.
