C: Fuel Gage Always Reads F
Disconnect connector C305 and jumper bar- ness half, terminal B connector (PPL) to ground. Move Ignition Switch to RUN and observe the Fuel Gage.^ If the Fuel Gage still reads F, check PPL (30) wires for an open and Instrument Cluster connector terminals (see schematic). If both wires are good, replace the Instrument Cluster (see Service and Repair).
^ If the Fuel Gage now reads E, check BLK/ WHT (353) and BLK (151) wires for an open. If OK, replace Fuel Gage Sender.
