Sill Panel

• Removal and installation are same for right and left.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing






- Remove the lower A-pillar trim. Refer to => [ Lower A-Pillar Trim ] Lower A-Pillar Trim.

- Unclip the sill panel strip - 1 - from the sill panel beginning at the front using the (3409) - A arrows -.

- Disengage the sill panel strip from the side trim - arrow B - and remove it.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

• If the sill panel strip clips remain in the body mounting points, remove them and insert them in the trim.

• Check clamps for damage or deformation, replace if necessary.

- Engage the sill panel strip in the side trim and press it onto the sill panel until it engages audibly.

- Stretch the door seal lip over.
