Removal and Replacement

Coolant Shut-Off Valve

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Hose Clip Pliers (VAS 6340)

Removing

- Remove the upper left coolant pipe. Refer to => [ Upper Left Coolant Pipe ] Upper Left Coolant Pipe.

- Disconnect the connector - 2 -.






- Remove the bolts - 1 - and clip - 5 -.

- Remove the change-over valve - 3 - from the coolant shut-off valve.

- Disconnect vacuum hose - 4 -.

- Loosen the clamp - arrow - and remove the coolant shut-off valve.

Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Coolant Pipes Overview ] Coolant Pipes Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Replace O-rings.

• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model, refer to the electronic parts catalog ETKA.

- Installing the upper left coolant pipe. Refer to => [ Upper Left Coolant Pipe ] Upper Left Coolant Pipe.
