Rear Shelf







Rear Shelf

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Pry lever (80 - 200)

Removing

- Remove rear seat backrest. Refer to or remove seat frame/rear seat backrest => [ Lower Seat Frame/Rear Seat Backrest ] Lower Seat Frame/Rear Seat Backrest.

- Remove the rear armrest upper trim. Refer to => [ Center Armrest Upper Rear Lid Trim ] Center Armrest Upper Rear Lid Trim.

- Remove the rear belt guides in the rear shelf. Refer to => [ Rear Seat Belt Guide ] Rear Seat Belt Guide.

- Remove the rear outer belt anchor. Refer to => [ Rear Outer Belt End Fitting ] Rear Outer Belt End Fitting.

- Remove D-pillar trim. Refer to => [ D-Pillar Trim ] D-Pillar Trim.

- Remove the C-pillar trims. Refer to => [ C-Pillar Trim ] C-Pillar Trim.

- Remove the speaker trim. Refer to => [ Speaker Trim ] Speaker Trim.






- Remove the bolts - 1 through 4 -.

- Unclip rear shelf - 1 - using the pry lever - RMV outside mirror (80 - 200) - A arrows -.






- Vehicles with rear window shade: Detach rear shelf in the back of rear window shade - arrows B -.

- Guide left and right rear shelf over the retaining bracket for backrests.

- Pull the rear shelf forward, and remove it.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the rear shelf into the rear window frame.

- Vehicles with rear window shade: Engage the back of the rear shelf on the rear window shade.

- Press the front of the rear shelf on until it engages audibly.
