Right Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Combination Valve

Removing

- Removing the coolant connecting pieces. Refer to => [ Coolant Connections ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the throttle valve control module (J338).

- Remove the vacuum hose - 5 - from the AIR combination valve.






- Remove the secondary air hose - 4 - by pressing the release buttons.

- Remove the bolt - 2 - and move the bracket together with the wiring harness to the side.

- Remove bolts - 3 - and remove the right AIR combi-valve.

Ignore - 1 -.

To provide a better illustration, component location is shown from behind with engine removed.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

Tightening specification, refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection System with Vacuum Control Overview ] Secondary Air Injection System With Vacuum Control Overview.

Replace the seals and the O-rings.

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the same type as those equipped by the factory. Refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

When installing, bring all cable ties back to same positions.

- Install throttle valve control module (J338).

- Installing the coolant connecting pieces. Refer to => [ Coolant Connections ] Service and Repair.
