Removing






- Remove the rear noise insulation - 2 -.

- Remove the bolts - arrows - and the crossmember.






- Remove the left front muffler nuts - arrows -.






- Remove the right front muffler nuts - arrows -.







The decoupling elements in the front muffler could be damaged.

• Do not bend decoupling elements in front muffler more than 10°.

- Loosen the clamping sleeve - 1 or 2 -, slide it back and remove the corresponding front muffler.






Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Muffler Overview ] Muffler Overview.

• Replace seals and self-locking nuts.

- Install exhaust system free of stress, refer to => [ Exhaust System, Installing ] Service and Repair.

- Install the front crossmember.

- Install the rear noise insulation.
