Hydraulic Line On Cylinder

Removing

Injury risk.

There must be no pressure inside the hydraulic system when performing the following work.

- Follow cleanliness rules. Refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] Clean Working Conditions.

- Remove the leaking hydraulic cylinder. Refer to => [ Convertible Top Drive Hydraulic Cylinder ] Convertible Top Drive Hydraulic Cylinder, => [ Hydraulic Cylinder Bracket ] Hydraulic Cylinder Bracket and => [ Convertible Top Cover Hydraulic Cylinder ] Convertible Top Cover Hydraulic Cylinder.

- Remove the spring - 1 - on the hydraulic line connecting piece - 3 - in - direction of arrow - with a narrow screwdriver - 2 -.






- Remove the connecting piece from the cylinder.








Damage and leaks on the hydraulic cylinder.

The hole for the connecting piece on the hydraulic line must not be damaged.

A damaged hole will result in leaks.

- If there is an O-ring - 1 - still inside the cylinder, carefully remove it with a small dull hook - 2 -.

Installation






Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Replace the O-ring.

- Install the new O-ring - 2 - in the connecting piece - 1 -.

- Insert connecting piece - 3 - vertically in hydraulic cylinder, no resistance must be felt.






Damage and leaks on the hydraulic cylinder.

Forcing the hydraulic line will damage the O-ring.

- Push the spring - 2 - all the way in with a narrow screwdriver - 1 - in - direction of arrow - and secure the hydraulic line.

- Install the hydraulic cylinder. Refer to => [ Convertible Top Drive Hydraulic Cylinder ] Convertible Top Drive Hydraulic Cylinder, => [ Hydraulic Cylinder Bracket ] Hydraulic Cylinder Bracket and => [ Convertible Top Cover Hydraulic Cylinder ] Convertible Top Cover Hydraulic Cylinder.

- Check the fluid level and fill with fluid if necessary. Refer to => [ Hydraulic System, Filling and Bleeding ] Hydraulic System, Filling and Bleeding.
