Right Engine Mount






Right Engine Mount

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Engine Support Bridge (10 - 222 A)

Bracket with Spindle and Hook (10 - 222 A /10)

Engine Support Basic Set (T40091)

Engine Support Supplement Set (T40093) with (T40093/7) , (T40093/8)

Removing

- Remove the engine cover - arrows -.






- Remove the left and right bolts - 1 and 3 - and remove the upper longitudinal member - 2 -.






- Remove the right air filter housing.

- Remove the generator.






- Mount the engine support bridge (10 - 222 A) with (T40093/7) , (T40093/8) , (T40091/3) , (T40091/4) , (T40091/5) and (T40091/6) on the left and right suspension strut towers as illustrated.






- Install (10 - 222 A /10) , (T40091/1) , (T40091/3) and (T40093/4) as illustrated.






- Attach the (10 - 222 A /10) to the right engine lifting eye and tension the engine slightly.

- Disconnect the connector - 2 - from the right electrohydraulic engine mount solenoid valve (N145) and free up the wire.






- Remove the right engine support retaining plate bolts - 1 - and - arrows -.

- Free up the electrical wiring harness located on the right engine mount retaining plate.

- Move the engine mount retaining plate to the side.

- Lift the engine by the (10 - 222 A /10) - 1 - to dimension - a -.






Dimension - a - = approximately 20 mm.

- Remove the right engine mount.

Installing

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Subframe Mount Overview ] Subframe Mount Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Replace bolts which have been tightened to an additional torque.

During installation, all cable ties must be installed at the same location.

- Install the wires.

- Install the generator.

- Install air filter housing.
