Rear Lid Trim

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Pry lever (80 - 200)

Removing






- Remove the warning triangle bracket. Refer to => [ Warning Triangle Bracket ] Warning Triangle Bracket.

- Remove the rear lid lock trim. Refer to => [ Rear Lid Latch Trim Panel ] Rear Lid Latch Trim Panel.

- Remove wiring guide. Refer to => [ Wiring Guide ] Wiring Guide.

- Vehicles equipped with umbrella bracket: Remove umbrella bracket. Refer to => [ Umbrella Bracket ] Umbrella Bracket.

Vehicles with an emergency release inside the luggage compartment:

- Unclip cover - 1 - on the operating lever - 2 -.

- Detach control cable nipple - 3 - on the operating lever.

- Remove bolt behind the operating lever.

All vehicles:






- Unclip cover - 1 - using a screwdriver - arrow - and remove the bolt - 2 - behind it.

- Pry rear lid trim - 1 - out using a pry lever (80 - 200) - arrows -.






Position of the retaining clips.






- For this purpose, unclip retaining clips in the sequence - 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 -.

- Remove rear lid trim.

Vehicles with an emergency release inside the luggage compartment:

- Detach rear housing on the operating lever handle.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Insert rear lid trim and press on retaining clips in the sequence - 1 to 6 - until they engage audibly.
