Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Holding plate (VW 309)

• Transmission support (VW 353)

• Engine and Transmission Holder (VW 540)

• Engine and Transmission Holder (VAS 6095)

Securing transmission in vertical position

- Fasten transmission support (VW 353) to the transmission using bolts - 1 - and - 2 -.





- Attach holding plate (VW 309) to the transmission support (VW 353).

- Using workshop crane (VAS 6100) place transmission into engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).





Securing transmission in horizontal position

- Secure engine and transmission holder (VW 540) to the transmission - arrows -.





- Using workshop crane (VAS 6100) place transmission into engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).
