High Beam Headlamp and Daytime Running Lamp Bulb, Changing

• Adjust the headlamps after performing any work that could have affected their adjustment.

Removing

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Turn light switch into 0 position.

Left Headlamp

- Remove reservoir for power steering => [ Reservoir for power steering,
loosening at bracket ] Preparing to Work on Headlamps.

=> [ Air Filter Housing, Removing
- Vehicles with 6-Cylinder Gasoline Engine ] Preparing to Work on Headlamps

Right Headlamp - Vehicles with 4.2L MPI Engine

- Remove air filter housing => [ Air Filter Housing, Removing
- Vehicles with 4.2L MPI Engine ] Preparing to Work on Headlamps.

Right Headlamp - Vehicles with 4.2L FSI Engine

- Remove air filter housing => [ Air Filter Housing, Removing
- Vehicles with 4.2L FSI Engine ] Preparing to Work on Headlamps.

All:

- Release securing guides - arrows - and remove headlamp housing cover.





- Turn socket - 2 - counterclockwise - arrow - and remove from housing.





- Disconnect the high beam/daytime running light bulb connector - 1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Insert the new bulb into the housing without touching the bulb with bare hands.

- Close the housing lid.
