Fuel Injectors with Fuel Rail Assembly Overview






1 Radial adjustment

• Replace if damaged

• Clip together with support ring => [ (Item 6) Support ring ]

2 Combustion chamber seal

• Do not grease ring or treat with any other lubricant

• Replacing, refer to => [ Fuel Injectors ] Fuel Injectors.

3 Fuel injector

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Injectors ] Fuel Injectors

4 Spacer ring

• Replacing, refer to => [ Fuel Injectors ] Fuel Injectors.

• The fuel rail wields force via the support ring to hold the fuel injector tightly in the cylinder head.

5 O-ring

• Replace

• Coat with clean engine oil

6 Support ring

• Replace

• The fuel rail wields force via the support ring to hold the fuel injector tightly in the cylinder head.

7 Fuel rail

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Injectors ] Fuel Injectors

8 High-pressure line


• Before opening high pressure components of the fuel injection system, pressure must be relieved to residual pressure. Refer to => [ Before Opening High Pressure Fuel Injection System ] Service and Repair.

• Then wrap a clean rag around the connection and relieve residual pressure by carefully loosening the connection.

• Connectors should not show any signs of damage

• Do not change bend shape

• 25 Nm

9 High-pressure line


• Before opening high pressure components of the fuel injection system, pressure must be relieved to residual pressure. Refer to => [ Before Opening High Pressure Fuel Injection System ] Service and Repair.

• Then wrap a clean rag around the connection and relieve residual pressure by carefully loosening the connection.

• High pressure lines, installing, refer to => [ High Pressure Lines, Installing ] Service and Repair

10 Pressure relief valve 140 bar

• For high pressure line

• 25 Nm

11 Bolt

• 9 Nm

• Fasten in diagonal sequence in steps

12 Bolt

• 9 Nm

• Fasten in diagonal sequence in steps

Fuel Supply Line Tightening Specification





• Tightening specifications: 25 Nm
