12 V Socket 2 in Trim

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim removal wedge (3409)

Removing





- Carefully pry the luggage compartment lamp/12V outlet mount - 1 - out of the luggage compartment liner with the (3409).

- Disconnect electrical connector - 3 -.

- Remove nut - 2 -.

- Remove the 12 V socket 2 (U18) - 4 - from the mount - arrow -.

Installing





• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Cigarette Lighter, 12V Outlet Assembly Overview ] Cigarette Lighter, 12V Outlet Assembly Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Tighten the nut - 2 - on the 12 V socket 2 - 3 - to the tightening specification and install the mount - 1 -until it audibly engages.
