Fuel Level Sensor 2

Removing

- Observe safety precautions. Refer to => [ Safety Precautions ] Safety Precautions.

- Observe rules for cleanliness. Refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] Clean Working Conditions.

• During installation, all cable ties must be installed at the same location.

- Remove the fuel delivery unit. Refer to => [ Fuel Delivery Unit ] Fuel Delivery Unit.

- Reach into the fuel tank and remove the fuel level sensor 2 by pressing locking tabs at the same time - 1 - and - 2 - out of the baffle house guide - arrow -.





• Fuel level sensor 2 is illustrated without the fuel tank.

- Guide the fuel level sensor 2 carefully to the fuel tank opening and disconnect the electrical connector - 1 -.





• When removing, be sure not to bend floater arm of fuel level sensor 2.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• When inserting, be sure not to bend floater arm on fuel level sensor 2.

- Install the fuel level sensor 2 into the guide on the outside of the baffle housing and press it down until it audibly clicks.

- Install fuel delivery unit => [ Installing ] Fuel Delivery Unit, connect battery and observe the safety precautions after connecting the battery.
