A - To The Right Footwell Vent

B - To The Center Instrument Panel Vent

C - To Left Instrument Panel Vent

• Via an air duct installed in the instrument panel to the left instrument panel vent.

D - To The Defroster Vents

• Via an air duct installed in the instrument panel to the windshield and to the left and right instrument panel vents.

1 - Air Conditioner Unit

2 - Cold Air Door

• This door is actuated by the Front Cold Air Door Motor (V197)

3 - Air Door

• For the center instrument panel vent.

4 - Instrument Panel Vent Air Door

5 - Defroster Outlet Air Door

6 - Rear Wall Of Plenum Chamber

• Between the passenger compartment and front of the vehicle.

7 - Air Intake Unit

• In fresh air mode, the air from the Fresh Air Blower (V2) is taken in via the front door, refer to => [ Components Outside Passenger Compartment ] Components Outside Passenger Compartment and => [ Air Intake Unit ] Air Intake Unit.

• In recirculation mode, the air from the fresh air blower is taken in via openings in the rear wall of the plenum chamber under the instrument panel, refer to => [ Air Intake Unit ] Air Intake Unit and => [ Air Intake Unit ] Air Intake Unit.

8 - Fresh Air Blower (V2)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fresh Air Blower ] Service and Repair.

9 - Dust and Pollen Filter

• Follow the replacement intervals.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Dust and Pollen Filter ] Service and Repair.

10 - Evaporator

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Evaporator ] Refrigerant Circuit.

11 - Heat Exchanger For Heater Unit

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ A/C Unit Heat Exchanger ] A/C Unit Heat Exchanger.

12 - Cold Air Channel

• This channel guides the air past the heat exchanger to the center instrument panel vent.
