Hinge Trim and B-Pillar Trim

Removing





Proceed as follows:

- Remove the left or right engine compartment trim => [ Left and Right Engine Compartment Trim ] Left and Right Engine Compartment Trim.

- Remove the nut - 2 - and bolt - 4 -.

- Remove the B-pillar trim - 3 -.

- Remove the hinge trim - 1 -.

Installing





• Tightening specifications => [ Engine Compartment Trim Assembly Overview ] .

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Remove the old adhesive tape from the body.

- Remove the protective film on the adhesive surfaces - A through D - from the trim - 1, 2 and 3 -.

- Position the upper section of the trim - 2 - on the lower section - 1 -.

Install the trim as follows:





- Place the upper and lower trim sections together on the body.

• The hole in the trim must align with the threaded hole.

• The gap to the edge of the roof - A - must be parallel.

- Slide the B-pillar trim with the hole onto the threaded pin.

- Tighten the bolt on the upper and lower trim sections.

- Tighten the nut on the B-pillar trim.
