Removing

Proceed as follows:

- Remove the luggage compartment liner.

- Remove the luggage compartment release motor => [ Rear Lid Central Locking System Motor ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the front lid lock => [ Front Lid Lock ] Front Lid Lock.

- Remove the bumper cover => [ Bumper Cover Assembly Overview ] Bumper Cover Assembly Overview.

- Remove the top center bumper mount => [ Top Center Bumper Cover Mount ] Top Center Bumper Cover Mount.

- Remove bolts - 2 - and - 3 -.





- Remove the lock carrier - 1 - while guiding the luggage compartment emergency release cable out.

Installing

• Tightening specifications => [ Lock Carrier Assembly Overview ] Lock Carrier Assembly Overview.

Installation is reverse of removal.
