Map Controlled Engine Cooling Thermostat

Removing

- Drain the coolant. Refer to => [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] Service and Repair.

- Disconnect electrical connector - 2 - at map controlled engine cooling thermostat (F265).





• Ignore - 1 -.

- Remove coolant hoses - 1 - and - 2 - from coolant thermostat housing.





- Remove the bolts - arrows -.

- Remove map controlled engine cooling thermostat (F265) housing.

Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Coolant Pump and Coolant Thermostat Assembly Overview ] Coolant Pump and Coolant Thermostat Assembly Overview.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Replace seals and O-rings.

• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model.

- Fill with coolant => [ Filling ] Service and Repair.
