Fluid - Differential: Testing and Inspection

Gear Oil in Rear Final Drive, Checking

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Drip Tray (V.A.G 1306)

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1331)

- Remove the sealing plug to check the transmission fluid - arrow -.





The oil level is correct when the rear final drive is filled to the lower edge of the filler hole.

• Transmission fluid specification: Audi A6 from MY 2005, refer to => [ Transmission Allocations, Ratios and Capacities, from MY 2005 ] Rear Final Drive 0AR

- Insert the plug - arrow - and tighten it.

Tightening specification: 45 Nm
