Torque Converter Draining

• Oil collecting and extracting device (VAG 1782)

Procedure





• Torque converter removed

In case of contamination of the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) via shavings or during a major transmission overhaul, the torque converter must be drained as follows:

- Extract the ATF from the torque converter using the oil collecting and extracting device (VAG 1782).
