Vibration Damper

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Retainer (3036)

Removing

- Remove the supercharger ribbed belt. Refer to => [ Supercharger Ribbed Belt ] Supercharger Ribbed Belt.

- Pivot the tensioner clockwise - arrow - to release the tension on the ribbed belt.






- Remove the ribbed belt from the vibration damper and release the tension on the tensioning element.

- Remove the vibration damper bolts - 1 -; to do this, counterhold it using the (3036).






- Remove the vibration damper.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Supercharger Ribbed Belt Drive Overview ] Supercharger Ribbed Belt Drive Overview.

• Replace bolts which have been tightened to an additional torque.

• Installation is only possible in one position because of the offset holes.

- Install the ribbed belt. Refer to => [ Ribbed Belt ] Ribbed Belt.
